Felix Engelhardt, CEO and founder of ZUMERA

, has been leading an interdisciplinary team since 2020, with whom he was responsible for the growth of business and internationalisation at Saxenhammer and is continuing the path to become Europe’s Nr.1 M&A firm under the new brand. Prior to that, he led the M&A advisory business of an SME-focused boutique and gained several years of experience in the transaction departments (IBD) of Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank and UBS, where he spent around three years each in Frankfurt and London. He completed his academic career with a Master of Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, is a CFA Charterholder and a regular guest lecturer at renowned universities, such as Maastricht and Mannheim and the Frankfurt School of Finance. Before his studies, he realised a successful exit as a managing partner of a digital agency.

Felix grew up in Berlin as the son of a tax consultant and auditor and a judge. His youth was shaped by team sports (field hockey) and a strong affinity for competition, business and law. During his school years in England, Felix was significantly influenced by an accounting teacher, whereupon he decided to immerse himself in the world of business and finance. After working in London, Madrid and Frankfurt, he returned to Berlin in 2017, where he now lives with his wife and fourteen-year-old daughter.

Today, Felix Engelhardt is one of the leading experts and "influencers" in the German-speaking financial sector in the area of corporate finance and M&A, which is reflected in +24,000 followers on LinkedIn and numerous key-notes at industry summits and major fairs.

He started his role on July 3, 2023 and strengthens the company with his extensive experience in the industrial sector. 

He brings many years of experience in the financial sector. Yves Scharf worked at Morgan Stanley for ten years and has deep expertise in investment banking. He worked for eight years in the European industrial sector team in London and later in Frankfurt. During his time at Morgan Stanley, he carried out international cross-border M&A transactions and IPOs for corporations, family businesses and financial investors. 

In addition, Yves Scharf is an investor in a global trading company whose particular goal is the procurement and recycling of metallic goods and raw materials for more CO₂-neutral steel production. 

With his comprehensive industry knowledge and his in-depth expertise in the large cap sector, Yves Scharf underpins our high quality standards.

Philipp is Director & Founder at Zumera as well as part of the management team. Philipp is responsible for large parts of Zumera´s client-facing operations. He plays an integral part in the cultivation of new- and the development of existing client relationships. His focus lies on the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions. Before joining SXH´s Digital Unit, now Zumera, in 2021, Philipp was Senior Analyst at Carl Finance GmbH. During this time, he contributed to the acquisition of dozens of buy and sell side mandates allowing him to gain expert-level knowledge in sales-driven M&A processes. Prior to joining SXH´s Digital Unit, now Zumera, in 2021, Alexander gained small-cap investment banking experience. He served as Analyst and participated in the origination and execution of several M&A deals. Earlier in his career, Alexander acquired experience in the Financial Services Division of KPMG. He graduated from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Emory University.

Before joining Zumera in February 2023, he gained experience in strategy consulting. Antonio worked as a consultant supporting financial investors and strategic buyers in commercial due diligence projects. Earlier in his career, Antonio gained experience in mid-cap investment banking at Lincoln International and transaction advisory at Deloitte.

Antonio holds a Bachelor's degree in General Management from EBS University and a Master of Law and Business from Bucerius Law School in Hamburg.

Associate

Sukhpal Multani is an Analyst at Zumera. He started as a Junior M&A Analyst in January 2023 and was promoted to Analyst after 6 months.

Sukhpal previously gained experience in the real estate investment team at a family office. In addition, he gained relevant experience at Deloitte in the areas of auditing and transaction services.

He obtained his B.Sc. in Banking & Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He also completed his Master in Management at the ie Business School in Madrid as one of the top three graduates of his year. In addition, he spent a semester abroad at Bocconi University in Milan.
